This Premium UI kit was designed by senior UX designer Ole Fredrik Lie.
Foundation UI Kit for Adobe XD is the new widget library for rapid prototyping for mobile, tablet and desktop. All components are based on Foundation 6, the most advanced responsive front-end framework in the world.
This comprehensive UI Kit helps you create high quality, interactive prototypes fast.
Back in February 2017, we thought it would be cool to create a private group on Facebook for all those UI/UX designers using Adobe XD, or for anyone interested in it and planning to try it in the future.
Right now, this group is counting more than 2500 members, and it keeps on growing!
The group is called “Adobe XD & Friends” and it’s a place to connect, ask questions, solve issues, showcase your work or just post useful links and resources.
Why don’t you join too? It’s obviously free!
Adobe XD has been out for about a year now, but still there are not a lot of resources available in terms of icons.
Sure you can use the icon sets you might already have for Photoshop or Sketch, but you always need to have those apps open on your computer and copy assets from them and paste them back into XD.
Or you could just download .svg icons, which are fully supported by Adobe XD, but you’d have to browse icons in your folders and then drag and drop the files you need into XD. Not very practical.
So here’s what we did to help you guys out:
Google has been offering some pretty amazing Material Icons for some time now. These are open source, free to use and free to distribute, so we just grouped them all together in one .xd file and split them into a few categories, so that you can easily use them in your Adobe XD projects.
It took us some time as they are about 1000 icons in total, but we really hope you find it useful!
Hooked is a mobile UI kit for Adobe XD, completely free and created by XDGuru.com
In the past few months we have used Adobe XD quite a lot, and thought it would be cool to create a little free UI kit for the newborn Adobe XD community.
Hooked is made of 14 cool looking screens, all forming a fun, colourful and “mobile-dating-inspired” app.
As most of you already know, unfortunately it is still not possible to create layout grids in Adobe XD. It’s a much needed feature we hope Adobe will implement soon.
In the meantime, here’s a pretty handy Bootstrap Grid for Adobe XD which you can use in your desktop projects.
It’s following the Bootstrap standard 1170px container grid (12 columns 67/68px wide and 30px gutters).
We suggest you put down the opacity of the grid layer folder to about 10%, so that it’s not bothering you too much while designing.
